Monday, December 10, 2007 in Macon, Georgia at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame 7PM be there for the celebration of the life and music of the late great Otis Redding.

Join the celebration as the 40th anniversary of his going home is commemorated with the unveiling of a plaque of honor.
The reception is free and open to the public from 7PM to 9PM. The exhibit, Otis Redding: I’ve Got Dreams to Remember,will be on display. A short program at 7:30 p.m. by The Crawford Ensemble and remarks from Macon Mayor C. Jack Ellis; Macon Mayor-Elect Robert Reichert; and Bill Thompson, Deputy Commissioner, Film, Video and Music Office, Georgia Department of Economic Development. The newly released DVD, Dreams to Remember: The Legacy of Otis Redding, will be screening at the Gretsch Theatre in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
