Our sincere condolences to the family of businessman Howard John Hill of Macon, Georgia. Mr. Hill died on Wednesday evening, June 4, 2008 in Macon. He was 73.

Mr. Hill, born in Delaware, was a retired supervisor from the United States Postal Service. He was the previous owner of ACentral Georgia Limo Service, a limousine service in Central Georgia. Howard Hill held several positions with other limousine companies, including driver, scheduler and dispatcher before establishing his own sedan service.
As a younger man he played minor league baseball in New Jersey and Florida before making Georgia his home. Mr. Hill was well known locally for officiating at several sporting organization events.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine C. Hill, and a host of family, friends and business associates.
Howard Hill, a well respected man, was an extraordinary individual whose intelligence, knowledge, wisdom and experience in life, as well as the limo business, will be missed.
